Get to Know Me
I grew up on Long Island, NY. As a child, I was athletic and into sports. I love working with kids, and always wanted to be a doctor. My oldest brother, who is an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) physician, was a big influence in my decision. I feel responsible for giving kids the best opportunity possible to have a good life and a chance to grow up healthy and strong.
Why I Treat Children
I’m passionate about my work, and I love taking care of kids. I don’t feel like it’s work because I love it so much. Making people feel good makes me feel good, too. Part of my make-up is wanting to help or satisfy people – to make them smile. Growing up, I was a ventriloquist and performed at kid's functions. Humor makes people feel good and that makes me happy.
Make A Difference
I’m an active advocate for children’s health issues, and I sit on several boards.
What I Do For Fun
I enjoy competitive waterskiing and boating on the Intracoastal Waterway, really, anything to do with water. Also, I enjoy spending time with my family – my wife – who is a pediatrician, and two beautiful children.
