Point-of-Care Testing Orientation
Your privileges at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware may include one or more point-of-care testing procedures. To meet accreditation standards, all applicable medical staff members must complete a brief orientation to our point-of-care testing processes.
Please review the procedures listed below, complete the Test Procedure Form, and return it to the Medical Staff Services Department. This documentation will be kept on file as confirmation of your orientation. Procedures include:
- Urine dipstick
- Occult blood
- pH strips
- Rapid strep
- Urine hCG
- Physician-performed microscopy
Medical staff membership at Nemours is extended to qualified physicians who meet, and continue to meet, our standards for education, training, licensure, and quality of care.

Credentialing Application Requests and Information
You can view and print medical staff policies and procedures in Nemours PolicyTech. Documents are available in Word and PDF formats and are searchable by keyword.
How to Access PolicyTech
From NemoursNet, select the PolicyTech icon on the right side of the homepage. Use the search bar at the top to find policies and procedures by keyword.
If you’re a member of the Community Medical Staff or are accessing from an off-site location, log in remotely through Connect2 to reach Nemours applications.

Remote Access to Clinical Applications
Active medical staff members can access clinical applications remotely through NemoursNet.
Available applications include:
- Epic (including Epic Web)
- Nemours University (Epic training site)
- E-Scription
- iSite PACS (Radiology)
Physician Liaison Support
Your physician liaison is your direct connection for referrals, access, and coordination. They’ll help you navigate services, connect with specialists, and stay informed about Nemours programs and resources.
