Why Choose Us

Why Choose Us

At Nemours Children's Health, Jessup Street, we see children and teens for well-child, newborn and adolescent physicals and immunizations, as well as same-day sick appointments. We work to be your children's medical home, which means they will see the same team members each visit, and we'll treat them in a holistic way, addressing all of their medical needs — physically and emotionally as well. To that end, we offer on-site psychology and social work support. For extended care and ongoing advice to new moms, we also offer lactation support with our experienced pediatric breastfeeding peer counselor.

This office offers additional services, including:

  • lactation support
  • social work services
  • notary services
  • resource center with computers, printers and educational materials

Your Child's Patient-Centered Medical Home

Our practice has been awarded Patient-Centered Medical Home™ (PCMH) Level 3 Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). As part of our “medical home,” your child's primary care provider leads a care team dedicated to addressing your child’s comprehensive health care needs — arranging care with other qualified professionals as needed. The care team may include our doctors and nurses, care coordinators, psychologists, social workers and/or lactation consultants.
