Here are a few quick answers about scheduling online and what to expect after you make your appointment.
Parents and guardians can schedule appointments online for children who are new to Nemours. Existing patients can log in to MyChart to make or manage appointments.
If your child has already seen a Nemours provider, they’re considered an existing patient. Existing patients can use MyChart to schedule with their provider or with a new specialty. If this is your first time scheduling with Nemours, then your child is a new patient.
You’ll need your child’s name, date of birth, address, insurance information, and the reason for the visit.
Yes. Once you select a specialty, you’ll see available providers and locations.
Some providers may not be accepting new patients. If your child already receives care at Nemours, you can log in to MyChart to see more options.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with all appointment details shortly after you schedule. If you didn’t get the confirmation email, check your spam or junk folder first. If you still don’t see it, you can request another confirmation email.
Yes. Please contact the office where you scheduled at least 48 hours before your appointment so we can offer that time to another family. You can also manage appointments online using MyChart.
Yes. All Nemours providers share your child’s health record, so they can access previous visits, medications, and test results.
An APRN is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. This is a nurse with a master’s degree and specialized training in diagnosing and managing both common and complex conditions.
A PA, or Physician Assistant, is a licensed clinician who provides medical care under the supervision of a physician.
