What is the trial about?
A research study of a drug called Metformin in combination with standard chemotherapy for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory solid tumors.
Who can participate?
Male or female age 1-30 years at initial diagnosis.
What is involved?
Length of study is 6 months. Standard cancer care including medical history, physical exam, blood work, urine pregnancy test, ECG or MUGA, bone marrow aspirate, and/or biopsy.
