Get to Know Me
I grew up in Wellsville, NY, south of Buffalo. My first mentor was my mother who was a pediatric nurse practitioner. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the outdoors and animals, and knew at a young age that I wanted to work in biology. My focus within GI is hepatology, and I’ve always been fascinated by the complexity of the liver. Why I Treat Children
I’m passionate about improving the overall quality of life for children with chronic medical conditions. It’s rewarding to have the chance to impact a child’s life at an early age, and prevent problems down the line. Also, I love interacting with people, and medicine gives me the chance to meet new people – kids and parents – every day.How I Try to Make A Difference
I volunteer at Camp Boggy Creek – a camp for chronically ill kids.Education & Training
