    I became a nurse many years ago after needing health care and receiving top-notch care from my health care team. That is when I knew I wanted to be a genuine and caring resource to patients and families. I chose pediatrics after experiencing the joy of caring for children and adolescents. Their enthusiasm, silliness and motivation to get better is infectious.
