At Nemours Children's Health, Millsboro, we see patients for primary care medical needs like well-child checkups, sick-child care and immunizations, from birth until 18 years old.
Our practice has been awarded Patient-Centered Medical Home™ (PCMH) Level 3 Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). As part of our “medical home,” your child's primary care provider leads a care team dedicated to addressing your child’s comprehensive health care needs — arranging care with other qualified professionals as needed. The care team may include our doctors and nurses, care coordinators, psychologists, social workers and/or lactation consultants.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany your child for the first visit. If a legal guardian rather than a parent accompanies your child, the guardian must bring guardianship and custody papers for your child to be seen.
Nemours is a teaching organization. The physician you make an appointment with may be a resident or physician-in-training. Be assured the care of your child is always under the supervision of a fully-licensed physician.
Nemours has a number of service regions. Selecting your region will help us show you the right contact information and the most relevant content for you.
