At Nemours duPont Pediatrics, Newark, we see patients for primary care medical needs like well-child checkups, sick-child care and immunizations, from birth until 18 years old. We offer extended hours that are more convenient for before- and after-school needs.
Our practice has been awarded Patient-Centered Medical Home™ (PCMH) Level 3 Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). As part of our “medical home,” your child's primary care provider leads a care team dedicated to addressing your child’s comprehensive health care needs — arranging care with other qualified professionals as needed. The care team may include our doctors and nurses, care coordinators, psychologists, social workers and/or lactation consultants.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany your child for the first visit. If a legal guardian rather than a parent accompanies your child, the guardian must bring guardianship and custody papers for your child to be seen.
We have taken every possible precaution to make sure our locations are safe for you and your children, including:
Please be advised that your travel to Nemours locations could be impacted by an 18-24 month construction project on I-95 and surrounding access points, beginning February 2021. Please check the DelDOT website (I-95 Restore The Corridor Wilmington ) for updates and resources. If using a navigation system, we recommend the use of Waze for real-time updates.
