Expertise When Your Child Needs It Most

Nemours Children's Pediatric Emergency Departments (PED) are here for children when it matters most. Our facilities and equipment are designed for children, and our staff are highly trained. We know what to do and how to make kids feel more at ease in any situation.

Our children’s hospitals are freestanding, which means we only treat kids. Our PED doctors are board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. And our emergency nurses, paramedics and social workers are specially trained to work with children.

As a team, we care deeply for children’s health and safety. That’s why we’re researching ways to prevent illness and injuries. We’re also out in the community and across the country sharing our knowledge and highlighting best practices.

At Nemours, you get the highest level of emergency care and support for the whole family.
