The Ginsburg Institute at Nemours Children’s is proud to host the 4th Annual Child Health Symposium on Thursday, October 8, 2026 in Orlando.
Imagine if every clinic visit, classroom, and community program treated literacy as health? This year’s Child Health Symposium brings together cross‑sector leaders to codesign that future, one where reading, language, and communication are built into care, policy, and everyday practice.
Join clinicians, educators, community builders, and policy partners to explore literacy as a foundational social driver of health and leave with practical strategies you can put to work the very next day.
Learn more about the Ginsburg Institute and how its work is advancing this vision.
Register to attend this year’s Child Health Symposium by October 1, 2026.
Keynote Speaker
Dana L. Suskind, MD, Director of the University of Chicago’s TMW Center for Early Learning + Public Health, and New York Times bestselling author, will deliver the keynote address “Forging Literacy Through Connection: Nurturing 'Human Raised’ Kids in the Age of AI,” illuminating the science linking early literacy, human connection, and health outcomes.
Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of Dr. Suskind’s newest book, "Human Raised: Nurturing Curiosity, Connection, and Lifelong Learning in the Age of AI," with an exclusive opportunity to meet the author and have their book signed during the conference.
Human Raised
A timely and urgent guide to parenting in the age of artificial intelligence, "Human Raised" explores how emerging technologies are reshaping childhood and how to protect what matters most during the early years.
From monitors that decode cries, to smart cribs and interactive chatbots, the parenting landscape is shifting rapidly, and Dr. Suskind helps families navigate this new terrain with clarity and confidence.
