Kids’ Skin Experts

Nemours Children's pediatric dermatologists provide expert care for common and rare skin, hair and nail disorders in children of all ages.

Our team helps kids with acne, dermatitis and psoriasis. We also work with many specialties throughout Nemours, including renowned programs for skin cancer, neurofibromatosis, rheumatoid arthritis and more.

We use methods like cultures, lab tests and biopsies (the removal of a small piece of skin or nail so it can be analyzed in a lab) to find the cause of skin problem. We provide the latest treatments including cryotherapy to freeze skin lesions and pulsed dye laser therapies for blood vessel conditions.

Our goal is to get kids back to being kids, itch-, pain- and worry-free. We want them enjoying friends and going to school feeling their very best.

We work to treat the cause of skin disorders. Some skin disorders are related to underlying conditions. We don’t just mask the symptoms. We work to find the cause and treat it.

We understand how skin conditions affect kids. Skin conditions can be painful and itchy, and affect a child’s appearance. We know how this can impact your child physically and emotionally. We help them feel better, inside and out.

We educate your family. We help you understand your child’s condition and how to manage it. We also teach your family about skin health and prevention.

Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a common condition in kids. Wet wrap therapy can relieve the itching and help with healing. Our experts show you how to do this at home.
