Drew Landmeier is Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and a member of the Executive Cabinet. He oversees Nemours Children’s national reputation and brand and is responsible for increasing recognition of its prominent role as a children’s health advocate throughout the United States and internationally.

Under Drew’s leadership, the marketing and communications (MarCom) team enhanced the Nemours experience through branding, storytelling and omnichannel marketing campaigns illustrating how our associates go well beyond medicine.

A results-oriented leader, Drew fosters team collaboration to achieve outcomes. Within his first year, he has led strategic initiatives to amplify the Nemours brand, grow priority service lines and incorporate metrics into health care delivery, reputation, brand, attribution and satisfaction.

A nationally accomplished and forward-thinking marketing executive, Drew brings more than 20 years of experience in health care marketing and communication. He came to Nemours from VITAS® Healthcare, where he was senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the nation’s largest hospice and palliative care provider. During his rise from the director of corporate marketing in 2007 to chief marketing officer in 2011, he oversaw the placement of the nation’s first self-service, web-based hospice kiosk for palliative care education and advocacy in key locations, and the launch of the first mobile app by a hospice provider.

Before joining VITAS, Drew served as director of marketing and communications for Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, director of business development at Parkway Regional Medical Center, North Miami Beach, and regional marketing manager for Tenet Healthcare’s network of 17 acute-care hospitals throughout South Florida and greater Tampa Bay.

Drew received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, and is a Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) member. He is based at Nemours Corporate Headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, where he resides with his husband, Israel Sanchez.
