Nemours pediatric hematologists (blood disorder specialists) provide nationally recognized care for kids with blood disorders.
As a part of the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (NCCBD), we have a large support staff to offer nutritional education, mental health resources and unique patient experiences. This center covers several states and helps guide families through their child’s illness. We provide kids lifesaving treatment and make sure families have the support they need.
Hematology care in children is different than in adults. Our pediatric specialists have helped set the standard for treating sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other blood disorders in kids. We’re able to provide the highest level of care while reducing side effects children have to deal with.
